Services
Skillnet receives funding to deliver a number of projects and services.
Advice and Guidance
All clients coming to Skillnet are asked to complete an application form. This forms the basis for speaking about skills, experience, barriers, aspirations. From this, we develop an action plan, a set of steps that will help clients reach their potential.
For some clients, this advice and guidance is all that may be needed. For others, attending one of our training course may help.
Mind2Work
The Mind2Work training course, funded
through the Big LOttery Fund, is aimed at those clients who may need intensive support. This may be around
health or mental well-being, and may include intensive language support.

The Black Community Skills Project, funded by the SCottish Government, is a partnership with CORE.
This project is aimed at clients who are more readfy for employment, and focuses on providing
